Before starting New Ceiling Tiles, LLC, the founder came up with Forever Ceiling System to deal with the issues associated with standard acoustical ceiling tiles. Being in the new ceiling installation and R&R of ceilings, He saw again and again the troubles with traditional ceiling tiles.
In 2006, one of his favorite restaurants was closed due to mold by the Health Department. Even though it only took 3 days to finish the R&R of the store, the location was eventually shut down due to the bad press of having mold.
Mold Issues begin with moisture. Moisture from any source, A/C Condensation, pipe leaks, roof leaks, etc., cause typical ceiling tiles to water spot, stain, sag and grow mold. Once mold has started growing in your tiles it will make your customers, clients and employees ill. A customer that gets sick in your business is not a returning customer. Getting rid of moldy tiles can be complicated and expensive, as they must be removed and handled as stated by the CDC.
New Ceiling Tiles, LLC started in 2007. We have over 100 years combined experience in ceilings and walls. The majority of the employees are female with an average age of 50 years old. The majority owner is a veteran of the Vietnam era and one third of our employees have served in the military.
We are located in Wisconsin (warehouse and shipping) and Texas (sales and corporate office).
The majority owner, while in the ceiling restoration business, researched and found a solution to the age old problem of water spots, sagging and molding ceiling tiles. In 2009, he helped develop what became known as Forever Ceiling. Our ceiling tiles are the first 3/16" or 5/32" thick PVC tiles that are 100% class A, which means they pass all of the ASTM E 84 tests for Flame Spread and Smoke Index.
Much has gone into the development of a tile that will resist mold, mildew, bacteria, water stains or spots. Especially one that will not sag due to humidity or moisture and is washable and class A. Forever Series ceiling tiles are the result of that effort. Additional tiles were developed that resemble traditional acoustic tiles, plus two styles of tegular (revealed edge) tile.
New Ceiling Tiles, LLC wants everyone to understand they can have a ceiling that is waterproof and washable and if maintained on a regular basis (cleaning), will look as good in 10 years, even 20 years, as it does the day they were installed. Meaning no more need of replacing ceiling tiles, grid, air diffusers and returns, ever! Our Tiles are the only ones that are Class A (fire code), 3-5MM (1/4") thick, made of pure virgin PVC and with no fillers. Other manufacturers either do not meet the code or are extra thin and require some other support to keep from sagging.
We deal mostly in PVC and plastics but additionally have metal grid and real wood ceilings.
We will not carry standard wood/mineral fiber tiles as that tile is so problematic and the issues they have are the reason why we started this company. Our goal is to provide a great, long term product that is worry free.
